Know Your Rights
The Psychosocial Disability Rights Project (PDRP), a project of Ubuntu Centre South Africa, announces the launch of its brochure, Know your Rights, The Implications of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities on Psychosocial Disability (CRPD).
This brochure aims at informing South African users and ex-users about the CRPD and how it serves as the basis for protection of their rights and dignity, along with other rights protections such as the South African Bill of Rights.
Its secondary aim is to inform service providers and the public at large of their responsibility to ensure that People with psychosocial disabilities are respected and receive services which are delivered in accordance with the CRPD.
